Makita is the leading manufacturer of professional power tools on the market. The DML812 is a bright torch with a maximum luminous flux of 1250lm, powered by a Lion LXT 14.4 V or 18 V battery (not included), for a long beam distance of up to 640 meters in point position (the distance where the illumination drops to 0.25 lx). DML812 is a 4in1 torch. Four lighting modes are available; spot mode, flood mode (for wide illumination of a target area), spot plus flood mode and strobe mode (the torch flashes in spot and flood mode). The mode switches the bikes via flood, spot, point and flood. Press and hold for strobe. The DML812 has a variable angle head that can be moved 90 degrees at will, a mounting hook to allow the torch to be hung from bars, pipes or racks and an on/off button with a memory function that allows the user to start in the same lighting mode as the last time before the torch was turned off.
