The Makita XSS02Z delivers high torque cordless cutting power to the job site. The 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 6-1/2 inch circular saw has brushless motor that cuts 2X material at 45 degrees. In addition, the motor turns the blade up to 3,700RPM for fast cutting and ripping. The heavy gauge, precision machined aluminum base is engineered for smooth accurate cutting and added durability in harsh job site conditions. Additionally, Makita 18V lithium ion batteries have the fastest charge time in their category. As a result, you spend more time working and less time charging! Cutting capacity is excellent on this lithium ion XSS02Z circular saw. For example, it cuts 2-1/4 inches deep at 90 degrees. Also, enjoy adjustable bevel capacity from 0 to 50 degrees. The rubberized soft grip handle makes this saw comfortable on the job. In addition, this saw weighs in at 7.3lbs which means reduced operator fatigue.
